Rebecca J. Ruvolo, MBA, CFP®

With more than 25 years of experience in financial services, I’ve dedicated my career to helping individuals and families gain confidence in their financial futures and work toward what matters most to them.

I began my career in the late 1990s with MBNA America, where I developed a strong foundation in banking and client service. After earning my MBA from John Carroll University, I joined Longbow Research, a boutique equity research firm in Cleveland. There, I spent six years partnering with analysts and connecting with some of the world’s largest mutual fund and pension fund managers — an experience that gave me a deep understanding of institutional markets and investment strategy.

After the financial crisis, I expanded my work beyond the institutional space, taking on roles in private client relationship management and business development. I helped facilitate capital raises for private equity funds and advised investors on alternative investments — experiences that strengthened my belief in the importance of tailored, long-term financial planning.

For the past seven years, I’ve focused my practice on retirement planning and financial guidance for educators and academic professionals throughout Northeast Ohio. Through my work with Voya Financial Advisors, I help clients understand their employer-sponsored retirement plans and make informed decisions about their financial futures.

In March 2023, I earned my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation — a milestone that reflects my commitment to putting clients’ best interests first. In October 2025, I founded Ruvolo Wealth Management to provide personalized financial planning and investment advisory services designed to help clients build, protect, and enjoy their wealth.

I am a CFP® professional and hold Series 7, 63, and 66 securities registrations, as well as licenses for life, health, and annuity insurance. (CA License #4492791)
